No, this is not always fatal. Prognosis depends on what kind of cancer it is. Also, not all brain tumors are cancers.

srry to hear that my friend is goin through the same thing 28 years, we live in California, where weeds is legal and he smokes days allll & & listening to reggae chills by the pool, the girls are easy to find simply not go to bars Lookin they r messed up, try the library and look in the section religous / philosophy, or go to Starbucks early Saturday and Sunday and the girls will see u do not have a hangover from partying too much, & I think u can get some kind of SSI Govt if the work can not u

all depends on the cancer and the individual. Some women are treated and live 50 years longer. Some die within a year. There is no way to guess the friend of your mother based on what little you said.

I’m sorry to hear about your friend. I am a guy and I have a breast cancer (in bone metastised to date). When it starts to hit major organs as is done for her now (liver, kidney, etc.) so it’s only a matter of time before it will probably pass. In saying that I mean probably a year short. I am not a Dr. and mine is spreading as well but so far it is not even touched all the organs (I got it for about 8.5 years diagnosed only 2 years ago … so long story). Just be there for her and comfort in any way, you can sometimes simply by listening to what she has to say and say nothing. Take care
